Est. Washington, D.C.
Baked before dawn.
Artisan breads, delicate pastries, and curated groceries — crafted daily on 7th Street for a neighborhood that values the ordinary made extraordinary.
Our Story
A kitchen built on patience and flour
Arnis Kitchen began with a simple conviction: that the best bread cannot be rushed. Every loaf we bake goes through a slow fermentation — sometimes 48 hours — because flavor is the only shortcut we refuse to take.
Located on 7th Street in the heart of Washington, we serve a community that shows up each morning for something real. Our bakers arrive before sunrise. Our grocery shelves are stocked with producers who share our standards. Everything here is chosen, not accumulated.
We are not a factory. We are a kitchen — small, intentional, and open to anyone who believes a meal starts with what you put on the table.

Our Philosophy
The right ingredient is the only recipe
Slow fermentation
Our breads ferment for 24 to 48 hours. This is not marketing — it is chemistry. Longer proofing develops flavor, improves digestibility, and creates the crumb structure our customers recognize and return for.
Local sourcing
We work with regional mills, dairy farms, and producers within a few hours of Washington. When we say local, we mean we can name the farmer who grew what is on your plate.
Small batches
We bake what we can sell. That means less waste, fresher product, and the honest understanding that our best items may be gone by afternoon — and that is by design.
